Le Prince Harry, qui s’est engagé à rester engagé dans des causes telles que l’armée, était au Palais de Buckingham pour des réunions mardi, planifiant son travail au Royaume-Uni alors que Meghan Markle rentrait en Amérique du Nord.

Pour son dernier engagement royal en solo, Meghan a rencontré 22 étudiants boursiers de l’Association des universités du Commonwealth au Palais de Buckingham.point 145 | La duchesse du Sussex a succédé à la reine en 2019 en tant que marraine royale de l’ACU.point 225 |

Le temps des adieux aux fonctions royales

La duchesse, dont on dit qu’elle a versé une larme à cause des adieux émouvants au personnel et du moment « doux-amer » de son départ, est retournée voir Archie, 10 mois.

Une source proche du couple avait déclaré que quitter la famille royale est important pour Meghan et Harry afin de rester « en sécurité ». « Le terrain est peut-être un peu différent, mais leurs priorités sont exactement les mêmes qu’avant. Garder la famille, et surtout Archie, en sécurité, c’est ce qui fera que tout cela en vaudra la peine ».

Lors des adieux de Meghan Markle à son personnel, on pouvait observait la « profonde tristesse » de Meghan. La duchesse et son personnel étaient « en larmes » alors qu’ils se faisaient un câlin d’adieu avant que Harry ne vienne chercher sa femme pour partir à l’abbaye de Westminster.
